Webshop Terms and Condition
Veranstaltungs- und Kongress GmbH Rosenheim - Ausstellungszentrum Lokschuppen
1. Scope of Application, Definitions
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to the booking/reservation and conduct of guided tours, workshops, events, and other programs offered by Veranstaltungs- und Kongress GmbH Rosenheim (VKR/Provider) at the Lokschuppen Exhibition Center in Rosenheim and govern the contractual relationship between VKR and its guests regarding the sale of vouchers and tickets for admission, guided tours, workshops, events, and other programs offered by VKR, both electronically via the VKR platform at tickets.lokschuppen.de (webshop) and on-site at the exhibition ticket offices.Within the scope of these Terms and Conditions, the Provider acts as an electronic ticket sales agency and thus as a ticket broker as well as a broker for bookings/reservations. It brokers tickets and bookings/reservations for exhibitions at Veranstaltungs- und Kongress GmbH or at the Lokschuppen Exhibition Center for which it is the organizer (in-house events). In this respect, the Provider acts on behalf of and for the account of Veranstaltungs- und Kongress GmbH. The purchase of tickets and the making of bookings/reservations result in the formation of a contract between Veranstaltungs- und Kongress GmbH Rosenheim, as the organizer, and its guests.
The contractual relationship between the Provider and the Guest is governed exclusively by the following General Terms and Conditions in the version valid at the time of the booking. Any conflicting general terms and conditions of the Guest will not be recognized unless the Provider expressly agrees to their validity in writing.
The guest is a consumer to the extent that the purpose of the ordered goods and services cannot be attributed primarily to his or her commercial or self-employed professional activity. Conversely, the guest is a business entity to the extent that, as a natural person, legal entity, or partnership with legal capacity, he or she acts in the course of his or her commercial or self-employed professional activity when entering into the contract.
2.1 Booking/Reservation: Inquiry and Conclusion of the Contract
A booking or reservation is made at the guest’s request via email, telephone, mail, in person, or through the website’s inquiry form. Upon receipt of the request, VKR submits an offer. The contract is concluded upon the guest’s acceptance of this offer. The guest must verify that the offer is correct. A booking or reservation can also be made through the online store. The guest may select tickets and bookings/reservations from the provider’s selection and add them to a “shopping cart” by clicking the “Reserve” button. The guest submits a binding request for a reservation/booking by clicking the “Reserve” button. Before submitting the reservation request, the guest may view and modify the shopping cart contents at any time. However, the request can only be submitted and transmitted if the customer accepts these Webshop Terms and Conditions by clicking the “I accept the General Terms and Conditions” button, thereby incorporating them into their request. The contract is concluded upon VKR’s submission of a declaration of acceptance of the request, which is sent to the guest in a separate email (booking/reservation confirmation). Once the confirmation is sent to the guest, the booking is binding. For last-minute bookings (less than three business days before the date), the offer is considered binding if there is no possibility of timely confirmation. Exceptions: Reservation/booking requests made via the online store, which must be submitted no later than seven business days before the date of the event and are only binding upon receipt of a booking/reservation confirmation from VKR. Changes must be notified at least three business days before the date of the event. Requests for last-minute changes cannot be guaranteed. Payment (debit card, cash) for a booking/reservation, including the issuance of the corresponding tickets, is made on-site on the day of the visit. The receipt is issued afterward in the form of a sales receipt. For payment by invoice, the invoice is sent to the guest at a later date. If the due date for payment is determined by the calendar, the guest is in default simply by missing the deadline. In this case, as a consumer, the guest must pay the provider late payment interest for the year at a rate of 5 percentage points above the base interest rate; as a business, at a rate of 9 percentage points above the base interest rate. The guest’s obligation to pay late payment interest does not preclude the provider from claiming further damages resulting from the delay. The contract text is stored in compliance with the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).2.2 Ticket Purchases via the Online Store: Conclusion of the Contract
In the online store, the customer can select various tickets and products from VKR’s assortment and add them to a “shopping cart” by clicking the “Add to Cart” button. By clicking the “Buy Now” button (or similar), the customer submits a binding request to purchase the tickets/products in the shopping cart. Before submitting the order, the customer can view and modify the contents of the shopping cart at any time. However, the order can only be submitted and transmitted if the customer accepts the Terms and Conditions by clicking the “I Accept the Terms and Conditions” button, thereby incorporating them into the order. The contract is concluded upon VKR’s submission of a declaration of acceptance, which is sent in a separate email (order confirmation). The invoice is attached to the order/ticket email as a PDF. The contract text is stored in compliance with the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Tickets are always sent electronically—“Print@Home Ticket” or “Mobile Ticket”—immediately after the contract is concluded. They are sent exclusively to the guest’s specified email address. The guest prints the ticket on a white sheet of DIN A4 paper using appropriate software for printing PDF files and a suitable printer. Alternatively, the guest can open the ticket on a smartphone or tablet. Both the “Print@Home Ticket” and the “Mobile Ticket” are scanned on-site at the turnstile. If the guest does not receive the tickets, he or she must notify VKR immediately. The tickets remain the property of VKR until full payment has been made. The guest may print exactly one copy of “Print@Home tickets” for their intended use. The guest is prohibited from reproducing or altering such tickets in either digital or printed form. “Print@Home tickets” are bearer tickets. Holders of a “Print@Home ticket” that has already been presented for validation may be denied access to the event by the respective organizer. In case of doubt, the guest is responsible for proving that they are the rightful holder of the ticket and have not enabled or encouraged any reproduction or other misuse. VKR accepts the following payment methods: KLARNA Instant Transfer, VISA and MASTERCARD credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay. Any applicable bank fees are the responsibility of the guest. Payment of the total shopping cart amount is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract. If the due date for payment is specified by the calendar, the guest is in default simply by missing the deadline. In this case, as a consumer, the guest must pay VKR late payment interest for the year at a rate of 5 percentage points above the base interest rate; as a business, at a rate of 9 percentage points above the base interest rate. The guest’s obligation to pay late payment interest does not preclude the provider from claiming further damages resulting from the delay.2.3 Purchasing Tickets On Site / At the Box Office: Conclusion of the Contract
Visitors can select various tickets and products from the VKR’s assortment at the exhibition ticket counters on site. The contract between VKR and the visitor is concluded upon payment for the desired products, which constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. After payment (debit card, cash) on site, a receipt is issued. The tickets are handed over to the visitor after payment.3. Ticket Delivery When Tickets Are Sold
Tickets are always sent electronically: a) Electronic ticket distribution via the “Print@Home” process immediately after the contract is concluded: The ticket is sent exclusively to the guest’s specified email address. The guest prints the ticket on a white sheet of DIN A4 paper using appropriate software for printing PDF files and a suitable printer. The “Print@Home” ticket is validated on-site at the turnstile of the Lokschuppen Exhibition Center. For tickets transmitted electronically via the “Print@Home” process described in these Webshop Terms and Conditions, the guest may produce only one printed copy of each ticket ordered for its intended use. Guests are prohibited from duplicating or altering such tickets in either digital or printed form. “Print@Home” tickets are bearer tickets. Holders of a “Print@Home” ticket that has already been presented for validation may be denied access to the exhibition by the respective event organizer. In case of doubt, the guest is responsible for proving that they are the rightful holder of the ticket and have not enabled or encouraged any reproduction or other misuse.b) Electronic ticket sales via the “Handyticket” system immediately after the contract is concluded: The ticket is sent exclusively to the guest’s specified email address. The guest opens the ticket on a smartphone or tablet and scans it on-site at the turnstile of the Lokschuppen Exhibition Center. Guests are prohibited from digitally duplicating or altering such tickets. “Handytickets” are bearer tickets. Holders of a “Handyticket” that has already been presented for validation may be denied access to the exhibition by the respective organizer. In case of doubt, the guest is responsible for proving that they are the rightful holder of the ticket and have not enabled or encouraged any reproduction or other misuse.
If the guest does not receive the tickets, he or she must notify the provider immediately. The tickets remain the property of the provider until full payment has been made.
4. Ticket Delivery for Bookings/Reservations
Guests do not receive tickets in advance for bookings or reservations. Payment (debit card, cash) for a booking or reservation, including the issuance of the corresponding tickets, is made on-site on the day of the visit. A receipt is issued afterward. If payment is made on account, the invoice is sent to the guest at a later date.5. Prices and Discounts
All prices published by VKR include the applicable statutory sales tax. Discounts are granted exclusively to eligible groups upon presentation of appropriate proof on the day of the visit. Retroactive discounts are not permitted.6. Validity of Admission Tickets
Admission tickets are valid all day. Tickets are sold exclusively with a specific visit date. They are valid only on the selected date—re-entry is permitted at any time. Gift certificates are valid for three years from the date of purchase. The exact expiration date is indicated on each gift certificate.7. Ticket Purchases: Returns, Exchanges, Partial Refunds, Right of Withdrawal
a) Tickets that have already been purchased and paid for cannot be exchanged, returned, or partially refunded. In the event of obvious errors in the information on the delivered tickets, the guest may request a correction from the provider within one week of receiving the tickets. The transfer or resale of tickets is not permitted. There is no right of withdrawal pursuant to Section 312g(2)(9) of the German Civil Code (BGB), as these are services related to leisure activities purchased for a specific date or time period.b) Cancellation Policy for Gift Certificates & Audio Guides: You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the date the contract is concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Veranstaltungs- und Kongress GmbH, Kufsteinerstr. 4, 83022 Rosenheim, tickets.lokschuppen@vkr-rosenheim.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by mail or an email). To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires. Consequences of withdrawal: If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same payment method for this refund that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you.
c) Special Note Regarding Gift Certificates and Audio Guides (Digital Content) Purchased Through the Webshop: Our gift certificates and audio guides constitute digital content that is not delivered on a physical medium. The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if you have expressly agreed that we may begin performing the contract before the expiration of the withdrawal period, and if you have confirmed that, by giving your consent, you forfeit your right of withdrawal upon the commencement of performance. This is particularly the case if: the gift certificate is made available immediately via email or download; the audio guide is accessible or streamable immediately after purchase.
8. Lost Ticket
If a guest loses their tickets, the box office can issue a replacement ticket if the guest can provide credible evidence of which ticket they purchased.9. Cancellations of Bookings/Reservations
Free cancellations are permitted up to three days before the scheduled appointment. For cancellations made between 48 and 24 hours before the appointment, 50% of the agreed-upon price will be charged. For cancellations made within 24 hours or in the event of a no-show, the full price is due. Cancellation of tickets that have already been paid for is not permitted—see the right of withdrawal for ticket purchases.10. Liability
VKR is liable only in cases of willful misconduct, gross negligence, or injury to life, limb, or health. In cases of simple negligence, VKR is liable only for breaches of material contractual obligations and only to the extent of foreseeable damages typical for this type of contract. There is no liability for damages caused by force majeure. Contractual obligations are those whose fulfillment is essential for the proper performance of a contract and on whose compliance the contracting party may reasonably rely. These limitations of liability also apply in favor of VKR’s legal representatives and vicarious agents.11. House Rules
In addition to these Terms and Conditions, the house rules of the Lokschuppen Rosenheim Exhibition Center, as currently in effect, shall apply..12. Final Provision
Contracts between VKR and the guest are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Should any individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Should any individual clauses of these Webshop Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, they shall be replaced by the statutory provision from which they deviate. The statutory provisions regarding the limitation of the choice of law and the applicability of mandatory provisions—in particular those of the country in which the guest, as a consumer, has his or her habitual residence—remain unaffected. The place of performance for all claims arising from the contract is Rosenheim. Unless another mandatory place of jurisdiction is established by law, Rosenheim is agreed upon as the place of jurisdiction. As of January 1, 2026

Technical equipment may only be operated by VKR personnel.3. Organization, Accommodations, and Operational Procedures
For booked tours and programs, the exhibition guides will meet the group in the foyer of the exhibition center, unless another meeting place has been agreed upon. If the group is late, the guides will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes, unless prior notice has been given. In exceptional cases, a tour may be led by someone other than the person originally announced.4. Number of Participants in Group Programs
The minimum and maximum number of participants allowed for guided tours, workshops, children’s birthday parties, and similar programs are specified in the current program descriptions. Adjustments to the number of participants can be made on-site at the exhibition ticket office.5. Children and the Duty of Supervision
Children under the age of 14 may visit the exhibition only when accompanied by an adult. For minors, the duty of supervision and responsibility generally lies with legal guardians, parents, grandparents, teachers, educators, or adult chaperones, even though youths aged 14 and older are permitted to visit the exhibition on their own. The Lokschuppen Exhibition Center assumes no responsibility or duty of supervision at any time. If a child between the ages of 7 and 13 participates in one of the special children’s and family workshops, the child may visit the building as part of the booked program even without an accompanying adult, provided that the child is supervised by the accompanying adult until the program begins and is picked up by that same adult promptly after the program ends. For guided tours, an adult chaperone or a sibling over the age of 13 must always be present. However, the duty of supervision remains with the legal guardians at all times. The educational staff and the Lokschuppen Exhibition Center assume no responsibility or duty of supervision for minors at any time. Children under the age of 7 may participate in children’s and family workshops only when accompanied by an adult. For children and teenagers visiting the exhibition as part of a school field trip, vacation program, or similar activity, the duty of supervision rests with the adult chaperones of the group, unless teenagers aged 14 through 17 (inclusive) have organized the visit themselves. We ask that children and teenagers move through the exhibition and the building in supervised small groups when not participating in a booked program. At least one adult chaperone must be present throughout the entire booked program, unless adolescents aged 14 through 17 have organized themselves.6. Smoking Ban
In accordance with the Health Protection Act, there is a general smoking ban (lighting and keeping a tobacco product lit) throughout the entire event venue. The smoking ban also applies to e-cigarettes and cannabis. Violations of the provisions of the Non-Smoker Protection Act may be punished by the competent authorities as an administrative offense, including against the VKR.7. Coat Check and Bags
Umbrellas, coats, thick jackets, child carriers, backpacks, packages, and bags of any kind or size (fanny packs, chest bags, shoulder bags, handbags, camera bags, cell phone cases, diaper bags, small animal carriers, etc.) may not be brought into the exhibition hall for insurance reasons. In case of doubt, the duty manager will make the final decision. A coat check and lockers are available. The VKR assumes no liability for items left in the coat check or lockers.8. Food and Beverages
